PRAYER
Ephesians 3:16-19
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources, he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
At NRBC prayer is a very important part of church life. We believe in the power of prayer and that when we pray, God hears our prayers and answers them according to his will.
Prayer is not just for those who go to church and you don't need to be in church to pray, in fact you can pray to God right where you are right now.
Sometimes we don't know what to pray for. We know we need help but what words do you use. Do you need to use fancy words? Do you need to say things in a particular order? Do you need to be in church? Well the answer is no.
Prayer is simple, just like telling your best friend your worries and concerns and asking them for help and thanking them for all they have done for you.
When you pray, God already knows why you are talking to him and for a lot of people it is when things seem impossible and they don't know how to cope or are concerned for some other person.
