Noisy Group

What it is

It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the social and religious needs of the community. There are many individuals and families in the community who long to have friendship and fellowship with others in the community. It is all about transforming the community to be more cohesive, tolerant and friendly in order to help another in spiritual and social needs.

There are six members of Nansen Road Baptist Church who are regularly involved in the Noisy Group. The group has been in existence for almost sixteen years and our aim is to help the growth of the church and to encourage people to come to Christ. Haven Lunch Club for the Over 60's began with eleven people and now has thirty guests. We took a coach party to Snape Maltings for the Christmas pantomime and had a lovely Christmas lunch with fun and games in the hall.

Our aim is to see that, by God's grace, local people come to Christ and that the community of Priory Heath and Racecourse is transformed as a consequence. Our objective is to work as United churches, pooling our resources, not judging those we meet, but showing them Christ's Love and Acceptance. We hold annual events like a family meal with guest speaker, fun days, summer outings, Carol singing at Christmas, alternative Halloween party, Easter Party, Stay and Play sessions during all school holidays and our most recent event to start is 'Haven' (over 60's club). If you would like to involve than please contact MICK EARREY (01473) 726195.
